Fun and Informative–The Cycling Gypsies

This site is fun and informative.

The Cycling Gypsies are Europe cycling experts.  Their site is an excellent resource for anyone planning a tour to the old continent or those just looking for some funny cycling tales and inspiring photography.

The story behind the Cycling Gypsies website is a classic escape-the-cubicle tale with a twist.

Our heroes, Zoa &Fin, quit their jobs, sold whatever couldn’t fit on the back of their bikes and pedaled into the sunset.  And here’s the twist…Jack, their Border Collie/Retriever/Husky and Paco theirPortuguese Podengo–came along for the ride.

The 12-legged team began their unusual journey in 2008 and cycled through 18 countries in Europe clocking over 17,000kms in the process.

Now, Zoa, Fin and the dogs are living in Nova Scotia, Canada, gearing up for more adventures.

In the resources section you’ll find the top 5 rides in Europe:

  • Desert to Snow in Southern Spain
  • Island Hopping in Arctic Norway
  • Belgium & the Search for the Holy Grail
